October proved an exciting month for the Eleyo team. Nearly two years since our last in-person event, Eleyo hosted User Groups in Arizona and Michigan, along with three days of in-person sessions during the Minnesota Community Education Association’s (MCEA) annual fall conference.
Over two weeks, we talked to after school programs around the country about many ways they can enhance and grow sustainably grow their programs, including:
- Leveraging child care site data to ensure health and safety protocols
- Optimizing homepages and digital experiences to attract more families
- Accessing unparalleled reporting capabilities
- Turning community input into insights
We missed these interactions with the after school industry. Here’s a breakdown of where we went, who we met, and what we learned along the way.
Eleyo's Arizona User Group
Designed for both new and seasoned Eleyo users, User Groups bring before and after school teams together for a single day packed with Eleyo sessions and interactions with one another.
Eleyo’s 2021 Arizona User Group was our 4th visit to the Grand Canyon State. Throughout the day, nearly 30 attendees from nine districts in the Phoenix area came together for sessions on Eleyo’s Facilities, Courses, and Child Care modules, along with a deep dive into using the administrative dashboard to create custom list views for reporting capabilities. Attendees walked away with many tips and tricks for making the most of their Eleyo experience.
Eleyo's Michigan User Group
Hello, Michigan! Eleyo’s 2021 Michigan User Group was our first ever visit to the Great Lakes State. Our Michigan users in the Detroit area and beyond were excited for the opportunity to learn more about Eleyo and to interact with other Eleyo users and team members face-to-face.
Throughout the day, 22 program leaders from 10 local before and after school programs joined us for sessions on Eleyo’s Courses and Child Care modules, welcome page best practices, and Eleyo’s Child Care Attendance app. It was a fun day of learning, collaborating, and talking about the future of Michigan after school. We can’t for next year!
Eleyo @ MCEA
At this year’s MCEA fall conference, community education leaders from around Minnesota gathered for three days of sessions, activities, and collaboration. Eleyo hosted 13 sessions throughout the conference on various features and aspects of the platform and the Child Care Attendance app, including presentations on the exciting future of the Eleyo platform and building a program brand.
